Scaleway, the cloud subsidiary of France's Iliad Group, expanded its Dedibox VPS offering from three cities to 52 countries and 65 cities globally. The company simultaneously announced a purchase of more than 1,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, running on Nvidia's Spectrum-X networking fabric, to be installed at Iliad's DC5 data center in Greater Paris. This follows a DGX SuperPod acquisition announced in September.

Data Center Dynamics reports that Scaleway has also launched GPU Cluster On Demand, letting customers reserve clusters ranging from a few to several thousand. A supply deal with H, the Paris AI startup led by former Google DeepMind executives and targeting foundational action and multi-agent models, gives Scaleway an early enterprise anchor for its expanded GPU fleet.

Scaleway serves more than 25,000 businesses across Europe. Watch whether the H company deal becomes a replicable model: a European cloud provider supplying compute to European AI labs, keeping both infrastructure and distribution on the same side of the Atlantic.
